Wildwood has partnered with Dallas-based interior designer Denise McGaha on a new collection of lighting, furniture and home decor. The relationship was a natural fit — two families of multi-generational creators collaborating on legacy furnishings. An appreciation for heritage craftsmanship was at the forefront of their partnership.
McGaha's collection for Wildwood encompasses simplicity and strength, raw materials and refined finishes, and a balance of contemporary living with the reinvention of traditional style. However, the invigorating creative force for the collection is grounded in her kinship with nature. Deeply inspired by time spent at her farm in Texas, Denise meant to articulate the senses provided by the outdoors through truth in natural materials, palette and textures in each piece.
A layer of classicism runs through each design, juxtaposed by strong silhouettes and an alchemy of gilded modern, art deco and mid-century. The collection leads with warmth, soul and always with an eye toward livability.
