Sunset West, a division of Hooker Furnishings, has named Charles Emmons to Vice President of Sales. Emmons will lead sales efforts across the United States and will support the ongoing growth of the luxury outdoor furnishings manufacturer.
A casual furnishings industry veteran with 30 years of sales, marketing, general management and executive experience, Emmons joins the company most recently from Windward Design group, where he served as EVP of Sales and Marketing. Prior to that role, he served 16 years as Vice President and CMO of Cast Classics. He reports to Wes Stewart, president of Sunset West.
“We are incredibly excited for Charlie to join the team and bring his unique perspective and brand of excellence to Sunset West,” said Stewart. “Charlie is a multi-talented and respected veteran of the casual industry, and we look forward to adding his leadership and experience to our team.”
Emmons began his career in the stockroom of Treasure Island, a New Jersey-based seasonal retailer with a specialty in outdoor furnishings. Over the course of the next 30 years, he gained additional experience at Dayva International, Casual Living Worldwide, and was founder/ president of PURECasual & Trilogy Casual.

Emmons holds a Bachelor of Science in both business marketing and communications from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He resides in Berkeley Heights, NJ, with his wife and son.
