Spectra Home announced this week that it has hired Gregory Curry as its new Marketing Manager. Curry replaces Priya Inman, who has left the company.

Curry has a background in marketing, sales and merchandise management. He is the Founder and former owner of upholstered furniture supplier Engender Furniture and a partner in Thriftyu.com, a consumer-facing website focused on the Piedmont Triad area.

Prior to this, Curry served as National Sales and Merchandise Manager for for upholstered furniture manufacturer Lloyd’s of Chatham. He has worked as an independent sales representative for a variety of companies including Lexington Home Brands, Rowe, Benchcraft, the Alan White Company and Palliser.

“Greg comes to us with a stellar reputation as a relationship-builder and well-rounded executive,” says John Hoff, President of Spectra Home. “His skills and experience working with independent retailers will be an asset in the development of smart programs designed to help retailers stand out in their marketplaces.”

“I’m very excited about joining the Spectra Home team,” Curry says. “As a fashion-forward line that has long been a private label supplier to specialty retailers and catalog houses, Spectra Home is particularly right…both for the times and those independent retailers who want to appeal to younger consumers seeking that level of stylish, high-quality furniture at more affordable price points.”
