Planned Furniture Promotions (PFP) announced today that industry veterans, Eric Rowles and Andrew Winans, will return to the firm as senior consultants.

Rowles and Winans will work closely with retailers seeking help with cash flow problems, closing poor-performing locations or executing a profitable exit plan. They will report to the PFP executive team of Rob Rosenberg, Roy Hester and Tom Liddell.

Rowles initially joined PFP in 2010 as National Accounts Manager and for five years helped numerous high-end furniture and rug retailers plan and execute successful high impact sales. In his most recent position, he helped guide and develop successful rug galleries for Top 100 furniture retailers Kittle’s Furniture and Gorman’s Home Furnishings and Interior Design. He began his career in the home furnishings industry in 1985 as a founding member of rug sales firm Patusan Trading Company and has served in executive positions with L&JG Stickley and Hooker Furniture.

“Eric seems to know everyone, and he’s liked and respected by his clients as well his fellow team members. We [are] very pleased to have Eric back on the PFP team,” said Rosenberg, PFP President.

Having grown up in furniture stores from a lineage of furniture retailers, Winans brings unique expertise to the team with 10 years’ previous experience with PFP as a senior consultant in addition to hands-on knowledge of furniture retail and manufacturing. He was CEO of his family’s three-store furniture business in Northern Nevada; worked for two years at national retailer RC Willey; owned his own upholstered furniture factory; has been a member of two buying groups; and served on the board of the National Home Furnishings Association.

Roy Hester, PFP Sr. Vice President said, “PFP is fortunate to have Andrew back. Our clients always enjoyed working with him. He has a highly successful track record with us, and we’re expecting great things again.”

Both Winans and Rowles will attend the upcoming High Point Market, along with nine other PFP team members. The PFP building is located at 212 E. Russell. More information can be found regarding PFP and their programs at their website, www.PFPnow.com.
