Norwalk Furniture has announced that Caroline Hipple will be transitioning away from her role as President. Hipple will assume a temporary role as Brand Advisor and Creative Director to support the management transition and then will be rejoining HB2 Resources.
Hipple has been with Norwalk Furniture since 2008, initially as a consultant with HB2 Resources (co-founded with Dixon Bartlett), and then as President since 2016. During her tenure, the company has experienced significant growth and success. She also helped to lead the successful transition of Norwalk to an employee-owned business in 2020. Her dedication and strategic vision have played a pivotal role in the company's achievements.
Dan White, Chairman of the Board, expressed his gratitude for Hipple's contributions, stating, "We are immensely thankful to Caroline. Her legacy will continue to inspire us."
Hipple also shared her optimism about the company's future, saying, "It has been the privilege of a career to lead Norwalk Furniture, and I'm proud of what we've accomplished together. I have full confidence in the company's talented team and its ability to thrive in the years ahead. I will be watching its continued success with great pride."
The board of directors has appointed Dennis Camp to the role of interim President while it initiates a comprehensive search for a permanent replacement. Camp brings a wealth of operating experience from Norwalk’s accounting firm, Payne Nickles & Co.
Camp also expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I am honored to step into the role of Interim President at Norwalk Furniture. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, skilled team and continue the company's growth trajectory. I am committed to upholding the values and vision that have made Norwalk Furniture a leader in our industry."
Norwalk Furniture is not only dedicated to its growth, but also to its community. Since becoming an employee-owned company in 2020, the company has deepened its commitment to the Norwalk community by supporting local initiatives, fostering talent within the region, and contributing to its economic development.
