Feizy Rugs welcomes Michael Bauer as the Director of Trade Relations. Michael was the Vice President of Design at Dallas Market Center for ten years and brings 20 plus years of experience in interior design, trade relations and retail / brand development experience to company, beginning on January 16, 2023.
“Michael is a tremendous asset to the Feizy team. Continuing to improve our already strong relationship with the interior design community is of paramount importance to us in 2023,” said Principal Cameron Feizy. “Michael has spent his career investing in his relationships with the design community and is beloved amongst his peers. We are very fortunate to have him on board.”
While at Dallas Market Center, Michael built a report with interior design associations such as ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and IDS (Interior Design Society). Michael was the 2020 President for the IDS/DFW Chapter and currently serves on IDS National Board of Directors. Michael Bauer’s awards include: ASID Texas 2018 Kathy Hammond Industry Partner Award, 2019 IDS President’s Award for Outstanding Service and Support and ASID Texas Outstanding Sponsor Award and the 2020 DIFFA/Dallas Legacy of Love Award: Recognizing outstanding individuals that have significantly supported DIFFA/Dallas and its mission in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Michael Bauer received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from The University of Houston.
Michael will continue to work closely with the design community and industry organizations to position Feizy
Rugs as a key supplier to the trade. Michael will also partner with the company’s sales team to develop key
business segments in each region.
