Meridian Furniture Announces VP of Sales Appointment

Meridian Furniture, a fast-growing furniture brand serving retailers and designers with an ever-changing product line of reasonably priced, high-style designs sourced globally, announced that industry veteran Mitch Hodges will join the company as Vice President of Sales. 

Hodges is well regarded in the home furnishings industry for his work at Bassett Mirror, where he was most recently National Vice President of Sales. In that role, he worked with Top 100 retailers, built, and optimized a national sales team and significantly increased sales during a seven-year tenure with the company. 

In 2023, Hodges was recognized by a leading home furnishing trade publication as part of its “40 Under 40” accolade.

Before entering the home furnishings industry, Hodges was Vice President of Sales and Operations for a leading mobile telephone company. He is a graduate of Patrick and Henry Community College, in Martinsville, VA, and lives in Collinsville, VA, with his family.
