Universal Furniture announced this week the addition of Jared Worrall to its executive sales team based in High Point, NC. Worrall will take on the role of Vice President of Sales for the West region.
Worrall comes to Universal from Furnitureland South, where he was Sales Manager. In this role, he supervised a sales force of 50 people and managed daily operations on the 1.3 million-square-foot campus. Prior to his time at Furnitureland South, he spent seven years as a Director of Leasing for International Market Centers which owns and operates the Las Vegas, High Point and Atlanta markets.
Worrall's role was formerly held by Chris DeLisa, who joined the Universal Furniture executive team last fall. In this transition, DeLisa will become Vice President of Sales for the East region. DeLisa was previously a Universal sales representative for the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area from 2011 to 2017.
In his new role, Worrall will report to Senior Vice President of Sales Sean O’Connor.
“We are excited to have our sales leadership team complete,” said O’Connor. “We’ve done a lot work over the last two years to attract and retain customers, and we have no doubt that both Chris and Jared will help to champion that effort in the years to come.”
