Hubbardton Forge Announces Key Staff Appointments

The Hubbardton Forge promotions and new positions are designed to support the lighting manufacturer's continued growth and expansion.

Hubbardton Forge, a luxury lighting manufacturer with more than 240 employees based in Castleton, VT, has announced recent staff hires and promotions in key roles within the company.

CEO, Maria Mullen stated “To support our continued growth and expansion we have made some key hires and promoted several people into critical roles. We know these investments will make us a stronger company, more able to support and service our customers. I couldn’t be more confident in our team and I know we are poised to accomplish great things together.

Eric Hannon joins the Forge’s Senior Leadership Team in a new role as Vice President of Information Technology. Eric comes to HF with extensive experience, including 10 years at RAB Lighting where he was helped to navigate through a critical phase of growth. His deep business background will be a key asset overseeing the development of technology throughout all areas of the business.

Margaret Dugan has been promoted from her role for the past 12 years as HR Director, to Vice President of Human Resources. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, her unfailing commitment to and advocacy for the employees has been exceptional. She and her team have helped the company move to a hybrid working solution, implemented a second shift and kept Hubbardton Forge on-track through record sales and record labor shortages.

Nate Carr, who began his career with Hubbardton Forge 15 years ago, most recently as Sr. Business Analyst, assumes a new Senior Leadership Team role as Chief of Staff, reporting directly to the CEO. He has long been an integral and essential player at the Forge. In his new role, he will utilize his talents to assist in attaining the company’s growth targets.

Hal Brown, one of the longest serving employees at Hubbardton, has been promoted to the position of Engineering Manager. In his new role, Hal oversees both the New Product and the Custom engineers, bringing 30 years of experience and expertise in engineering, customs, design and supply chain to the company’s Design & Engineering group.

Maggie Brown, and 18-yr veteran, has been promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager at Hubbardton Forge. In in this position, she will help to successfully launch new initiatives and improve existing processes to grow and strengthen Hubbardton Forge’s business.

Max Pfiffner joins Hubbardton Forge, with over 20 years of industry experience, as Visual Merchandiser, based in Dallas, TX, where the company maintains a 6500sf showroom at the Dallas Market Center, in addition to showrooms at the IHFC -International Home Furnishings Center (High Point, NC) and the World Market Center (Las Vegas, NV).
