For its third iteration, Bernhardt’s iconic Designer in Residence program will feature a cutting-edge vision from the dynamic Forbes Masters duo (forbesmasters.com) at the High Point Market, Oct. 14-18. Tavia Forbes and Monet Masters are known for their contemporary, unique and compelling interiors. Their visionary design for the Bernhardt gallery will offer a new reinterpretation of Bernhardt’s creative legacy, highlighting design excellence and a very modern outlook.
“Designer in Residence was created as a way for us to offer a tribute to great design,” said Alex Bernhardt Jr., President and CEO of Bernhardt. “Tavia and Monet are so talented and innovative, and their concept for our gallery is incredibly forward-thinking and fresh. Their vision perfectly highlights Bernhardt’s role as a future-focused leader in home furnishings and design.”
“Forbes Masters is moving Designer in Residence forward with imagination and creativity,” said Gregory Heller, Vice President of Merchandising for Residential Casegoods. “There is so much talent in the interior design world, and we’ve been fortunate to have incredible gallery designs in the past by Nick Olsen and Summer Thornton. Each of our designers in residence have brought a unique and fresh point of view to our showroom and our furnishings. We can’t wait to unveil what Tavia and Monet have crafted for the October market.”
The Atlanta-based Forbes Masters team is known for eclectic and bold interiors. They don’t believe in following traditional design rules but instead set their own artistic vision that highlights the personalities and lifestyles of their clients. They have been featured in The Washington Post, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Essence, Luxe and on “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
Bernhardt’s showroom at IHFC D601 is open to all retailers and designers from 8am to 6pm each day of market, with appointments preferred. Bernhardt also will serve lunch daily in its iconic Bistro and will celebrate each afternoon with wine and hors d’oeuvres.
