A.R.T. Furniture, the casegoods and upholstered furniture manufacturer, announced this week the promotion of John Scarsella to Midwest Regional Sales Manager.
In this role, Scarsella will support customers and sales representatives in six territories while continuing his responsibilities in Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. Scarsella is tasked with growing revenue through increased communications among the sales representatives and customers within the region, fostering a culture of new ideas and best practices among the region’s sales force and relaying them back to the A.R.T. leadership team. He will report to Bryan Edwards, Sr. Vice President of Sales.
“As the 2016 A.R.T. Sales Representative of the Year, working with some of our top customers, John is uniquely qualified and capable to share his successes throughout the other territories,” said Jeff Cook, A.R.T. Furniture CEO.
Scarsella joined A.R.T. in 2015 as an independent sales representative and has grown his territory to garner the company’s top sales award in his second year. He previously worked at Stanley Furniture and grew his territory sales by double digits. Prior to that, he served as Territory Manager at other home furnishings companies, including Durham Furniture.
