Zoe Bios Creative announced this week it has launched its first collection of home products in collaboration with popular retailer West Elm, available online and in stores through this fall.
Showcasing signature artwork, the Zoe Bios Creative surface design capsule collection features 16 bedding, pillow and rug SKUs.
The L.A. based artist collective was founded in 2005 by artist-partners Caitlin Dinkins and Minh Nguyen. The duo joins an impressive roster of West Elm product collaborations, including leading designers and artists at Philadelphia design firm, Roar and Rabbit™; Brooklyn based furniture and product design studio, Bower; and NYC dishware staple, Fishs Eddy.
“Translating our paintings and illustrations into functional products for the home is a thrill,” says Dinkins. “The West Elm team was invaluable. They have an instinctive sense for the marketplace.”
West Elm, a Williams-Sonoma, Inc. member brand, is popular with Millennial consumers — the generation now exceeding baby boomers in purchasing power — through their environmentally conscious and humane product sourcing, local handcraft curations and community collaborations with up-and-coming artists and design studios like Zoe Bios Creative.
The 2018 West Elm Zoe Bios Creative capsule collection offers a series of artful statement pieces to personalize any modern living space. Sweeping brush strokes and contemporary color mixing define the new collection. Items include:
- Umber Corner duvet and shams
- made in Fair Trade Certified™ facilities from 100 percent TENCEL® fabric
- Outdoor Color Corner pillow
- with indoor- and outdoor-friendly waterproof cover and 100 percent recycled polyester filling
- Islands rug is hand loomed and made of a viscose and wool blend, offered in four sizes
“The West Elm collaboration is a fun addition to our primary business of serving the interior design community,” adds Nguyen. “The capsule gives us a unique opportunity to share our artistic vision with a new audience.”
Known for selling decorative wall art to the interior design trade, Zoe Bios Creative offers limited edition reproductions of original art from their House Collection, as well as works from a stable of artists represented by the company.
