For its second showing at the Atlanta Market, luxury outdoor furnishings manufacturer, Sunset West, will open a larger showroom located on the sixth floor of AmericasMart in Building 1 (Space 6-A1). With nearly 5,000 square-feet of display space, the showroom is more than 65 percent larger than its previous space at the inaugural Casual Market in Atlanta.
“Last summer we were in a temporary space, which served us well, however, we’re excited to be expanding and relocating to the sixth floor of Building 1, which is more of a ‘destination’ for outdoor furnishings resources,” said Aliena Klaus Squire, Vice President of Marketing with Sunset West. “This much larger space will allow us to not only present our newest collections, but also highlight many of our best-sellers and line extensions.
“We’re hosting a few social events this Winter in the new space and are planning a ‘grand opening’ event for the Casual Market this summer,” she added. “In addition to the product display space, we’ve incorporated a fantastic entertainment area for our guests and are looking forward welcoming our partners to our new space at the upcoming Markets.”
For the Winter Market, the company will spotlight four collections — Sedona, a mixed material group featuring teak and resin wicker, Grigio and Bahia, a cushion-less rope seating group available in two colorways and Bazaar, which has been expanded to include several accent pieces featured in concrete.
Sunset West Highlights
Sedona Collection - Inspired by the rustic charm of the high desert, the Sedona collection highlights the natural beauty of organic materials and textures. Crafted from 100-percent solid teak wood, Sedona features Sunset West’s signature weathered teak finish, coupled with a textured resin weave to provide exceptional durability. Sedona is a celebration of contemporary scale, with oversized deep seating that invites hours of leisure. Offering a full suite of dining, lounge, occasional, and deep seating silhouettes, the Sedona collection effortlessly blends rustic elegance with modern sophistication in any outdoor environment.
Grigio & Bahia Collections – A versatile seating option that will complement a variety of existing collections, the Grigio and Bahia collections offer a cushion-less design with handwoven rope seat decks and backs. Available in two colorways – Sand and Graphite – the collection features a new highback chair that is Sunset West’s take on the classic Adirondack chair. Perfectly pitched, with a body contouring seat design for upgraded comfort, it features a high-performance open rope weave and a wrapped paddle arm, providing a breathable, stylish and contemporary seating solution for dining, bar and lounge areas.
Bazaar Collection Additions- Several new items have been added to the Bazaar Collection, injecting mixed materials and new color options into the line that can be used in both indoor and outdoor living spaces. Highlights include the “Pebble” and “Tree Trunk” Table series, featuring a unique grouping of end tables and coffee tables crafted with glass fiber reinforced concrete.
Along with the expanded product assortment, the company will host an opening night social on Tuesday, January 16th from 3pm – 6pm. Daily happy hours will also be available beginning at 2pm Tuesday, January 16 through Monday, January 22.
