Spring Air International, a Top 20 U.S. bedding manufacturer, is strengthening its hospitality presence through fast delivery times and enhanced customer service. The company also recently named Nick Bates as its new CEO.

First, the brand is capturing the attention of hospitality buyers by promising delivery to properties in about 30 days. The buyers are seeking quick replacements to update outdated mattresses and ensure compliance, according to a news release.

Alongside quick delivery times, the brand is also offering accessible and responsive customer service representatives to aid in the buying process.

“Hotels nationwide are struggling to replace out-of-compliance mattresses following the COVID-19 pandemic as other industry competitors are taking longer and longer to not only supply these hotels, but reply to them as well,” said Nick Bates, President and CEO of Spring Air International. “Our team is dedicated to helping these hotels receive product in a matter of weeks, not months, and respond to any inquiries as soon as possible.”

The brand has also added experienced industry sales representatives throughout the country to assist customers.

“Hospitality buyers are typically charged with handling multiple categories from rugs to wall décor, which is where our experienced sales representatives add tremendous value,” said Bates. “Our reps can assess their needs quickly and efficiently, and help guide them toward the ideal mattress for their brand. Most importantly, they can assure hoteliers they will get their order on time.”

President since 2017, Bates was recently named CEO of the company following the recent death of Eddie Bates. Bates began his career with Spring Air in 2009 as a sales and marketing coordinator where he learned the business working on the production floor of the company’s then Chelsea, MA, factory, and selling beds to retailers.

In 2013, he was named director of corporate accounts where he played an integral role for the development and growth of Spring Air’s key national accounts business, company officials said. He was elevated to vice president of sales in 2016 and a year later became president of the company.

Bates is credited with bringing the unique perspective of the younger consumer to his post and is making a concerted effort to shift the company’s approach to marketing to appeal to millennials — and to the hospitality sector.

Spring Air offers three national hospitality collections — the Parkland, Avondale and West Haven. The Parkland boasts an ergonomically designed LFK open coil unit for ultra-responsiveness and durability. The Avondale features a VertiCoil design with Active Support Technology alongside a high-density perimeter, a component used to minimize roll-off.

The West Haven features individually encased Quantum Edge Coils and layers of pre-compressed high density gel foam. Each of the three collections can be customized to suit the needs of a hotel brand, thanks to Spring Air’s network of factories located across the United States.
