Nourison this week announced the introduction of PhotoReal digital printed rugs and bold, dyed coir doormats at the New York Home Fashions Market. Area rugs at this market are focused on vibrant color, distressed details and abstract watercolor and brushstroke designs.
The PhotoReal digital printing technique is being launched with two accent rug collections — Watercolor and Darien — and the La Reve area rug collection. Watercolor features vivid abstract and floral designs and Darien centers on traditional patterns. La Reve focuses on vibrant and vivid abstract watercolor designs.
New from Casa Bella’s dyed coir doormat collection are bright pineapple, watermelon, flamingo and tropical floral designs. Additional designs include Americana, nautical, beach, birds and butterflies and greetings.
The Prairie flatweave accent rugs feature multicolor bright stripes with fringe in a polycotton blend. The jacquard Captiva collection includes tile designs in blue and turquoise.
Waverly Enhance introduces printed and carved polyester accent rugs with a loop pile, featuring farmhouse style and coastal designs. Waverly Escape focuses on wine and rooster kitchen mats.
New area rug collections include Jubilant and Radiant. The Jubilant Collection rug designs range from dramatically distressed color effects and ornate European damask and forest-inspired designs, to interlocking and lantern trellis patterns in pastel shades of pink, blue and grey. The Radiant Collection features a silky texture and vintage vibe with distressed designs ranging from Persian and Moroccan patterns to contemporary abstracts in ombre colors.
There are also new designs added to Ankara Global and Waverly Sun n’ Shade area rug collections. Ankara Global features new distressed brushstrokes and abstract painterly designs. Waverly Sun n’ Shade introduces bold stripes, flamingo and floral designs.
Mina Victory Home Accents showcases new polyester and cotton pillows in Celadon, including shag and basketweave styles.
Nourison’s New York showroom windows at the 295 Fifth Avenue Textile Building showcase rich colors, Persian floral patterns and abstract brushstrokes from the Fusion Collection mixed with plush texture from the Corsica Shag Collection. A mix of Rustic Textures and kathy ireland Heritage Collections feature both contemporary and industrial abstract designs.
The inside windows feature Moroccan-themed rugs with vibrant color, including richly hued tribal designs from the Nomad Collection. Textured shag rugs in solid greys, neutral tones and lattice patterns are seen throughout the Luxe Shag Collection.
