STARK and Missoni will debut a new collection late this summer, marking a continuation of the partnership that originated in 2005.
Founded in 1938 by Arthur and Nadia Stark, STARK was built on the desire to provide carpet and rugs of unparalleled craftsmanship, quality and design. By joining forces with Missoni, a brand celebrated for its innovative and timeless aesthetic, STARK has redefined the boundaries of luxury living, company officials said.
The collection boasts a diverse range, including nine stocked rug styles, five custom rug styles and a signature custom SPA rug. Using STARK’s Performance Acrylic fiber, known for its proprietary solution-dyed technology, the SPA offering combines elegance with durability, according to a news release.
The collaboration also introduces 10 carpet styles, each showcasing Missoni's signature design and STARK’s attention to detail. In addition to the two stocked programs, the new collection features a full range of custom offerings which allows for complete creative control by STARK’s designers.
The Missoni Pom Box provides a palette of 100 custom colors in three distinct fibers: wool, silk, and silky nylon. Each fiber adds its own unique texture and allure, helping to ensure a tailored experience.
