The New Traditionalists, known for their line of custom residential case goods, upholstery and architectural millwork, have expanded into the world of mid- to high-end commercial manufacturing. With two factories anchored on both coasts in Connecticut and California, The New Traditionalists have long prided themselves as a 100% based USA manufacturer. More than 25 years of design, engineering and manufacturing experience with craftsmen sensibilities allows the brand to offer industry-specific capabilities unique to each of their new lines.

The New Traditionalists Commercial Group’s new lines include Hospitality, Gaming, Contract and Senior Living collections.

“What makes our experience in the hospitality market different is our years of design experience that make working with purchasing groups and fellow designers a breeze on both sides. We speak the same language and have the same goals,” says Brady Wilcox, CCO and Co-Founder of The New Traditionalists.

Philip Erdoes, CEO and Co-Founder adds, “Being USA based with factories on both coasts have allowed us to meet a broad range of client needs in competitive lead times without worrying about customs or crossings oceans - a lot can happen on the ocean and you won’t find one of our containers a couple hundred meters deep. That keeps clients pretty happy.”

The Hospitality line furnishes guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, bars, suites and outdoor areas for a range of clients such as Conrad, Hyatt, Old Navy and Gaylord.

The Gaming collection is geared specifically towards the innovative needs of entertainment and casino venues such as the Stratosphere in Las Vegas and the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in California.

The Contract line includes contemporary collection of corporate and office pieces.

For Senior Living, The New Traditionalists partnered with Gensler for their collection.

“Our collaboration with the renowned team at Gensler, as design consultants, will be a game changing addition to any Senior Living community. We have a fundamental understanding of the dynamic and innovative needs of the Senior Living industry and are thrilled to contribute to that market,” says Erdoes.

Brandon Larcom, Director of Product Development at Gensler, says that “Gensler is committed to being at design’s forefront. As the world’s largest design firm, our strategic manufacturing partnerships allow us to forecast trends and craft solutions for the future. With innovative designs based on analysis from the Gensler Research Institute, the firm is committed to leading the way on how we adapt to demographic shifts and reshape the way seniors experience their retirement. We have an opportunity to shift perceptions of retirement communities around the world and to advance the senior living market through design.”

With respect to the new line with The New Traditionalists, Larcom says “The “Elevate Collection” by TNT, designed in collaboration with Gensler, brings class and elegance to community living. After all, our friends who are a few years ahead of us deserve to relax in style.”

The new lines launch this spring and were on full display at the HD Expo in May.
