Custom upholstery specialist Nathan Anthony Furniture has announced a design partnership with Brooklyn, NY -based interior designer Cara Woodhouse, set to debut at High Point Market.
The Nathan Anthony and Cara Woodhouse collaboration began when Woodhouse was tapped by niche pop artist Robyn Davidson to design the interior of her Tribeca loft apartment, a project that is now in progress. Davidson creates original candy art under the label By Robyn Blair.
Nathan Anthony has been a preferred vendor for the Woodhouse's custom upholstery work and a natural fit for bringing the high-profile project to life.
Working in tandem with Tina Nicole, lead designer and co-founder of the award-winning furniture resource, the collection of signature upholstered items conceived by Woodhouse for the living areas and bedroom will debut in a special presentation at High Point Market (October 19-23) in the Nathan Anthony showroom, InterHall space IH-602.
By Robyn Blair wall art and decorative objects, carried by retailers such as Harry Winston and Bergdorf Goodman will add to the showroom display.
Woodhouse - whose Instagram following approaches 160,000 - has been named a rising design star by New York Cottages and Gardens. She expresses a bold, modern aesthetic, aligning with her business focus on luxury clientele.
Following High Point Market, Woodhouse will offer the Nathan Anthony-produced items through her new shoppable content platform at www.woodhousedecor.com.
