Satco Products announced today that Mark R. Corcoran has joined the company as Director of Sales, Strategic Partners.
Corcoran comes to the company after 35 years with OSRAM Sylvania. He began his lighting sales career in 1982 with a position at GTE Sylvania working the Fresno/Central Valley territory in California.
His role and responsibilities at the company increased over the years, leading to his promotion as San Francisco District Manager. In 1996, he moved back to OSRAM Sylvania HQ in Danvers, MA and took on the Head of National Accounts position two years later. After this, he was promoted to Vice President of the Industrial Commercial sales channel where he spent the next 12 years.
In his last position, Corcoran was responsible for managing distributor relationships across the U.S. and Canada. He was also active in the National Association of Electrical Distributors and served on various panels.
