Anna Maria Mannarino of Mannarino Designs, Inc., has entered into a collaborative product design venture with Creative Touch for a new printed pillow collection. Both Mannarino and Creatie Designs are based in New Jersey, where Mannarino has her design business and was the past president of the New Jersey chapter of ASID. Creative Touch is a to-the-trade resource specializing in traditional and handcrafted rugs.
“The collaboration has been an exciting opportunity for me to take my talents in a new direction with a proven leader in the textile category,” Mannarino said. “I look forward to expanding the offering.”
The 16-piece collection of 22” by 22” pillows and pillowcases evolved from different design approaches, with foundations in geometric forms, watercolor art and pencil drawings. The collection incorporates Mannarino’s playful approach to layering color and pattern.
“We are delighted to be working with Anna Maria,” said Baki Ildiz, president of Creative Touch. “The pillows are ideal for a range of interiors from hospitality to residential and we have had great response to them at the markets so far.”
The new pillow collection will debut at upcoming shows, including BD-West, the AD Show, High Point Market and ICFF.
