Elliston House will debut its Revival Collection for fall 2024. The North Carolina-based textile and wallcovering brand is best known for its balance of playful patterns and sophisticated colorways, offering designers and consumers a range of solutions for the sophisticated home, according to a news release.
Elliston House’s Revival Collection features an assortment of designs derived from textile archives across the East Coast. Each of the five designs — Monarch, Flora, Trellis, Della Dot and Echo — bring an air of retro nostalgia mixed with an infusion of contemporary character. This collection adds further depth and dimension to existing designs, company officials said.
“This collection is rich in color, bold in pattern and a little bit different from what we’ve launched thus far,” said Elliston House Co-Founder Ally Holderness. “The collection was built from inspiration we gathered at textile libraries and archives across the East Coast and so the feel of the collection is intentionally retro.
“My Co-Founder, Morgan, and I worked tirelessly to articulate color and scale across the five designs to make this Revival Collection one that leads with a look and feel that is nostalgic yet also modern and distinctively sophisticated,” Holderness added. “We’re excited to see the response to this collection; we think it adds a great deal of depth to our other Elliston House offerings available to trade, consumers and manufacturers.”
Inclusive of five designs – Monarch, Flora, Trellis, Della Dot and Echo – the 2024 Revival Collection is available across oatmeal linen, linen-cotton blend and clay-coated paper. These new designs, in line with existing Elliston House patterns, are digitally printed in the U.S. using state-of-the-art technology.
The brand’s water-based dyes are eco-friendly and its print-on-demand process produces minimal waste, the press release stated. All designs are available direct-to-consumer as well as to trade professionals and furniture manufacturers.
Monarch
Discovered by Elliston House as an eye-catching remnant in a textile archive in South Carolina, this hero design, Monarch, is available on linen-cotton fabric and vinyl wallpaper in one colorway, Rouge. The larger-scale butterfly motif offers both depth and intrigue across the design. The textile iteration of the design has an 18” H x 11.5” V repeat on both fabric and type 2 vinyl wallcovering.
Flora
Flora bridges the past and the present in its nostalgic yet sophisticated design. Previously used as inspiration for Italian fashion house Ferragamo, Flora has been reimagined for use in interiors by the Elliston House team. Available across oatmeal linen fabric and PVC-free type 2 commercial grade paper, this pattern pays homage to antiquitous British designs. With tones that are soft in hue yet rich in depth, Flora encapsulates classical refinement across three colorways: Verbena, Putty and Cobalt. The textile iteration of the design has an 18” H x 17.69” V repeat and the fabric width is 54”. As a PVC-free vinyl wallcovering, the width is 52” W and the repeat is 17.33” H x 17.1” V.
Trellis
A reinterpretation of the classical stripe, Trellis breathes new life into a timeless motif. This linear pattern creates a balanced and visually intriguing composition across its medium-scale design. Available in one colorway, Marine, Trellis is printed on linen-cotton fabric. The textile iteration of the design has an 4.5” H x 5.2” V repeat and the fabric width is 54”.
Della Dot
Available on linen-cotton fabric and clay-coated paper, Della Dot is a small-scale pattern with linear undertones. Offered in Marine and Radish colorways, the motif is accentuated by its monochromatic and layered tonal colors. Inspired by the dot motif from Trellis, Della Dot complements Trellis’s vertical design with a funky yet refined style. The textile iteration of the design has a 1.167” H x 5.09” V repeat and the fabric width is 54”. As a wallcovering, the width is 27” W and the repeat is 1.67” H x 5.09” V.
Echo
Combining geometric diamond patterns with a touch of floral flair, Echo is available across both linen-cotton fabric and clay-coated paper. Its small-scale design creates an eye-catching motif that is versatile across applications. Available in two colorways: Sage and French Blue, Echo is a blend of historical and contemporary design. The textile iteration of the design has a 9” H x 9” V repeat and the fabric width is 54”. As a wallcovering, it is offered in two inverse colorways and the width is 27” W and the repeat is 9” H x 9” V.
Each pattern debuting in the 2024 Revival Collection has been designed to stand alone or to be layered in conversation with its counterpart designs and those of the brand’s existing patterns and colorways. Elliston House as a brand seeks to inspire consumers and designers to embrace the bold, find the fun and encourage intentional layering of color and pattern across interiors.
