This fall, Kalco Lighting will unveil 20 bold new lighting and furniture pieces that will bring art and beauty to inside — and outside — of the home. The series of handcrafted island lights, pendants, sconces, tables and lamps will be showcased in Kalco Lighting’s showroom, IHFC H-232, during Fall High Point Market from October 14 to 18.
“Curvy frames, golden hues, layers of leather and painted wood are a few of the surprises from our team of designers this season,” Riki Lent, Senior Vice President of Kalco Lighting, says. “These introductions speak to edgy emerging design trends that will come to life in interiors moving into 2024 and beyond.”
Highlights from Fall High Point Market include:
Pelt Collection is a 3-tier chandelier made with layers of leather rounds held together by a singular vertical stitch trailing down the center with a weighted golden drop at the bottom. The ombre color combination complements the leather spheres warm neutral colors.
Inspired by the sunlight reflection on the calm ocean surface, the Mirage Collection features an open framed wall sconce with a true brass finish. Gentle watermark-like light patterns project on the clear, reeded glass against the wall, providing a warm glow in both directions.
Designed by interior designer Vanessa DeLeon, the Duet Wall Sconce is inspired by cleverly and well-designed hardware that uses its internal parts as the main design element. It is crafted with a low iron glass to provide the clearest coloration and a vintage brass finish.
Fuji Collection has Champagne Gold and Clear Firenze crystal layers with cast brass branches that create a vine-like cascade of Wisteria flowers. Fuji features a 60” island light and a 3 light wall sconce.
Among other High Point Market debuts are naturally inspired collections made with Kabibi shell, Abacá fiber and wicker as well as a new outdoor crystal collection and pendants by Allegri Crystal. Kalco Lighting’s luxurious furniture line, Modern Elements, also expands with notable additions, such as the Chroma Collection, a dichroic glass floor and table lamp, the Poppy Collection featuring a floor lamp with shades made from Abaca Fiber and a geometric Acacia Wood base.
