Decorative furnishings resource John-Richard announces its Spring High Point Market plan to host an educational event in the company’s showroom, located at 200 Steele, Fl. 2, on Sunday, April 23, at 4 p.m.
A panel discussion focused on the role decorative accents play in the final stages of the interior design process will feature award-winning interior designers Xander Noori and Keon Khajavi-Noori, Christina Henck, and Susan Semmelmann, who will additionally share photos from their client work.
Moderated by HPxD executive director and former editor Jane Dagmi, “The Art of Layering” talk will probe challenges and opportunities professionals face when curating and mixing art, lighting, tabletop decor, and accent furniture for design projects, and for creating press-worthy interiors.
“The true beauty of decorative accents lies in their ability to elevate a space by adding character, visual interest, and a dimension of drama,” says John-Richard CEO Alan Galbraith. “Achieving balance with a variety of design elements requires talent and experience. We’re excited for this group of star designers to share their insights with our audience.”
A cocktail reception coinciding with panelist-guided tours in the showroom will follow the discussion, 5-7 pm.
Registered High Point Market buyers may RSVP for this event. For additional information, or to make a showroom appointment, April 20 - 26, write info@johnrichard.com.
