In the final weeks leading up to City of Hope’s Spirit of Life awards dinner, major sponsorships and donations are growing for the industry’s flagship annual fundraiser that provides critical dollars for cancer and diabetes research and treatment.
This year’s Spirit of Life honorees are Jerry Dittmer and Tim Newlin of Flexsteel and Matt Harrison of KUKA Home. The awards gala will take place during the Spring High Point Market on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons.
“The more you hear more about the good things [at City of Hope], then you want to double down, you want to do more and help out any way you can,” said Newlin, vice president of strategic business development at Flexsteel.
The event committee encourages more leaders to answer the call to action and emphasizes City of Hope’s national and global impact, which has been supported by the International Home Furnishings Industry group with over $10 million since its partnership began in 1965.
