The Interior Design Society (IDS) along with their virtual chapter announced a digital edition of their popular design game, SWATCHED, to take place later this month. Created by IDS Long Island and played in local chapters across the US, SWATCHED is an interior design game where participants race against the clock to create a unique design from the ground up by using products provided by IDS sponsors and supporters. The projects are evaluated by celebrity judges and the top winners walk away with remarkable prizes.
Unique to the digital edition, contestants will have access to learn valuable virtual design skills such as techniques to create and present digital mood boards, 3D rendering tools and how designers can effectively use a project management software. To provide these learning opportunities, IDS has partnered with Mydoma Studio and eDesign Tribe.
The event will start on Monday, June 15th and will span over the course of 10 days ending with a virtual celebration and presentation of awards on Wednesday, June 24th at 7pm EST. A portion of the registration fee will go to a charity focused on COVID-19 relief throughout the US. To register or learn more, visit: www.interiordesignsociety.org/swatched.
