Meridian Adds New Website Tab for Specially Priced Sale Items

Meridian Furniture has incorporated a new tab to its website that for the first time features specially priced close-outs and overstock items for existing retail and design customers.

“We are regularly adding new products, colors and textures to our inventory, so having a special area of our website for close-out items will offer something extra for our existing customers,” said Meridian Furniture President Michael Rosilio. “These are special deals they will not find anywhere else.”

According to Rosilio, Meridian’s product team is cycling through and transitioning out best-selling products that have been in the line for years in some cases.

“To make room for new trends we’re updating our website’s sale section on a bi-weekly basis,” he said. “On any given day, the new sale tab features as many as 500 items across all our categories offered at considerable savings. Just as we are in near-constant product development mode, these discounted offerings will change every other week, so it pays to check the site regularly for deals.”

Recent deals include: the Hyde Boucle Fabric Sofa, a contemporary design with a rounded back and deep, plush cushion, listed at 25 percent off its regular wholesale price; Romeo vegan leather dining chairs, sold as a set of two, in brushed chrome metal with curved backs for a sleek look and optimal support, at 30 percent off; the Rivas Dining Table, a classic mid-century design crafted with ash veneer featuring a fluted base, at 30 percent off; and the Pavilion Coffee Table, composed of two distinct tables that can be placed together for a focal point, which was listed for 35 percent off its regular wholesale price. 

Signing up to shop and access the backend of the site begins with an online form located under the “Become A Dealer” tab, which can be uploaded with relevant documents such as a resale certificate for approval.
