The call for nominations for the International Association of Lighting Designers' 2018 elections is now open. The IALD Nominations and Elections Committee seeks nominations for its Board of Directors and Membership Committee.
Voting members of the IALD can nominate candidates in writing by post, via email to elections@iald.org or by fax at +1 312-527-3680. Nominations must be made by midnight CT on May 19. Self nominations are allowed.
Four Director at Large seats on the IALD Board of Directors are open this year. The position involves a two-year term and requires participation in at least four meetings each year in addition to general meetings such as Enlighten conferences and chapter meetings.
Membership Committee seats open this year include two Membership Committee Member positions and one for committee Chair. All positions have two-year terms. The Chair leads the work of the five-person committee tasked with managing membership requirements and processing applicants. The committee meets at least four times a year.
