The International Association of Lighting Designers announced the launch of IALD Alpine, the first European chapter of the organization. The chapter includes Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland and will open its activities to lighting designers from Northern Italy and parts of Germany, France and Slovenia.
After an association event in Zurich last year, Julia Hartman, IALD and Paul Ehlert, IALD took the initiative to gather independent lighting designers to form the new chapter.
