Furniture conglomerate Hooker Furnishings and leading lifestyle and entertainment company Scott Brothers Global, founded by designers Drew and Jonathan Scott, announce the renewal of their multi-year licensing agreement. As part of the expanded licensing program, Hooker Furnishings’ Pulaski Furniture and Samuel Lawrence divisions will continue to serve as the exclusive bedroom and dining room furniture category producers for the Drew & Jonathan Home brand through 2025.

The announcement comes as part of the brand’s growth strategy, which originally debuted in the spring of 2021 and includes products specifically designed for brick-and-mortar furniture retail stores, department stores, interior designers, and e-commerce channels.

Jonathan: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership and launch our new collection with Hooker Furnishings this spring. With Hooker’s support, we have been able to weave elements of our personal lives into unique pieces that bring our stories to life and transform people’s homes.”

Drew: “Thoughtful collaboration with the team at Hooker Furnishings has been the key to creating this collection and our previous ones. With a particular focus on quality and function, we draw from our collective areas of expertise to create long-lasting and timeless furniture for every home.”

The extended partnership will strongly contribute to the further expansion of the brand’s position in the marketplace. As part of this, the companies are set to launch a new collection at the upcoming Spring High Point Market, adding to the multi-collection offering that spans four design aesthetics: California Coastal, Urban, Pacific Northwest, and Regency Moderne.

Making its debut in April, Griffith, which falls into the California Coastal aesthetic, is an expansive 26-piece collection that includes bedroom, dining room, and occasional furniture.

The collection is inspired by Drew and Jonathan’s desire to reconnect with nature within their busy city lifestyles. Casual pieces, crafted from split heart oak veneers and rubberwood solids, evoke a sense of calm reinforced by muted, natural colors and aged pewter hardware. Eye-catching rounded edges, surprising curved details, and stone insets showcase an “of-the-moment,” modern style that make the everyday feel like a beautiful escape.

“Inspired by two of television’s most prolific lifestyle influencers and designers, we are eager to add the Griffith collection to our Drew & Jonathan Home product assortment,”

said Page Wilson, president of Hooker Furnishings’ Pulaski Furniture, Samuel Lawrence Furniture, and PRI brands. “The collection is very clearly a reflection of Drew and Jonathan’s coastal California lifestyle, combined with quality craftsmanship and smart designs that will translate into a variety of homes across the country.”

Featuring split heart oak veneers with stone insets and woven details on select pieces, the collection is characterized by its relaxed Smoked Oyster finish, curved profiles, tapered feet, and linear-shaped bar hardware in an Aged Pewter finish that adds a modern, finishing touch.

Bedroom pieces are anchored by a dramatic canopy bed that is reminiscent of an upscale private beach cabana. Featuring a fully upholstered headboard in a durable alabaster-tone fabric, the side rails and footboard also feature upholstery detailing that mimics the curved profiles highlighted throughout the collection. Additional bedroom pieces include a panel bed, a dresser with coordinating mirror, a drawer chest, a nightstand with charging station, and a bachelor’s chest with an open shelf design, optional stone inset top, and a lighting feature with charging station.

Three dining table options anchor the dining category, including a rectangular dining table with pedestal base, a gathering height table, and a 56-inch round dining table with a cross style base. Each of the table bases include the same curved detailing that is prevalent throughout the group. Dining chair options include splat back, upholstered, and woven back designs, each evoking a coastal, laid-back lifestyle in their own individual way. Dining storage options include a server, buffet with stone inlay, and a bar cabinet with two doors, a mirrored interior back, an open bottom shelf, interior storage drawers, a pull-out serving shelf, and a stemware rack.

Curved profiles are prevalent throughout the occasional and accent items as well, including a round cocktail table and rectangular cocktail table that mimic the look and feel of their dining table counterparts. Adding a decidedly California casual design element, the round cocktail table is also available with a stone inset. A variety of additional occasional items are available including a round side table, a demilune console, a hall chest, an entertainment console, an etagere, and a writing desk.

The new collection, as well as representative pieces from other collections within the Drew & Jonathan Home brand, will be on display in a dedicated 10,000 square-foot space within the company’s 220 S. Elm location in High Point during the Spring Market.
