The High Point Market Authority announces its Keynote Series lineup for Fall Market, October 16-20, 2021, featuring three leading women executives. This season’s educational series seeks to enhance a buyer’s Market experience with timely, relevant and forward thinking topics.
All sessions will take place at 3:00 P.M. on their scheduled day in the High Point Theatre, conveniently located in the main Transportation Terminal, with doors opening 30 minutes prior to each session. Each will offer 1.0 IDCEC-approved CEU to those who attend.
The first Keynote Series session on Saturday, October 16, will feature influencer Colette Shelton, founder of COCOCOZY and Chirpyest, who is launching a collection with etúHOME, the session’s sponsor, this fall. She will speak with moderator Breegan Jane on her path from corporate to influencer to successful brand partner by stepping out of her comfort zone and taking career risks, encouraging others to blaze their own trails and offering advice on designing authentic influence.
Sunday’s Keynote will feature global style icon, international supermodel and entrepreneur, Miranda Kerr. Best known for her celebrated career in fashion appearing on magazine covers all over the world, Kerr will discuss how she turned her passion for organic skincare into a business and transitioned from the runway to the boardroom as a successful businesswoman, entrepreneur, and the founder and CEO of KORA Organics. Sponsored by Universal Furniture and moderated by Tori Mellott, style director of Schumacher and Frederic Magazine, Kerr will also share what drove her to enter the home space with Universal Furniture and launch Miranda Kerr Home which debuted at Market in the fall of 2019.
The series will wrap on Monday with a session focused on insights that can help retailers and brands propel their businesses forward, including how to effectively scale to meet customer demands. Amazon Home executive Eva Lorenz will additionally share Amazon Home observations around emerging consumer behavioral shifts, such as evolving customer needs, and predictions of where the industry is headed. This session is sponsored by Amazon Home.
