Gift for Life, in partnership with home industry leaders, has announced the launch of “Home vs Hunger,” a new charitable initiative raising funds for World Central Kitchen’s crisis-related hunger relief programs. Following the October launch, the organizing committee will develop an ongoing series of future fundraising activities.
“This is the first independently organized partnership between Gift for Life and the home industry,” said Cole Daugherty, chair of Gift for Life. “We’re delighted to partner with industry-leading home manufacturers and market-makers to expand our fundraising for World Central Kitchen.”
The first Home vs Hunger event runs Friday, October 21, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, in the Eichholtz showroom, at 129 South Hamilton Street in High Point, NC. During the event, launch committee members will share information about World Central Kitchen and Gift for Life’s fundraising for the charitable organization. Refreshments and light bites will be served. Retailers, manufacturers and sales agencies interested in learning more should RSVP to homevshunger@gmail.com.
