Fine Furniture Design announced today the winners of its first social media contest, which was held during the April High Point Market. The contest was part of a new strategic social media campaign designed to enhance the company’s online marketing strategy to further engage with its trade customers and end consumers online.
Molly Jackel with Perigold was randomly selected as the grand prize winner of the artwork by Dale Henry. She selected a portrait of Frank Sinatra from the three pieces, which also included Mick Jagger and Marilyn Monroe. Second and third-place prizes were awarded to consumer followers of Fine Furniture Design’s social media pages. The prizes included an Esquire grooming kit and a copy of “Esquire How to Be a Man: A Handbook of Advice.”
The social media contest was held during the recent April High Point Market. During market week, retailers and consumers who engaged with the contest posts on the company’s social media platforms were entered to win original artwork by Dale Henry, a well-known speed painter who created three pieces during the company’s Esquire Home Collection launch event. Industry guests in attendance were also invited to receive an additional entry into the contest by dropping their business cards. The contest received more than 200 submissions via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
“The timing of the contest around Market was a great way to not only attract new followers to our pages, but also give consumers an exclusive look into our activities at High Point Market,” said Anna McGaha, Marketing Director for Fine Furniture Design. “Based on its success, we plan to continue to incorporate similar strategies into our social media plan going forward.”
The contest details and social media content are available to view on the Fine Furniture Design social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
