Elk Home welcomed the addition of several new team members this month, furthering the company’s expansion following the corporate rebranding which began in January.

Gil Sturtzel and Jake Blake joined the Elk Home product development team. Sturtzel, now product development director focusing on Studio furniture and key accounts, joined from Sunny Designs in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where he oversaw the company’s growth from a niche supplier to a full furniture line. Blake, now product development director focused on home décor, joined Elk Home from Flair Home where he oversaw product development and merchandising for furniture and accessories.

Victoria Corea joins the marketing team as the director of brand, and will spearhead the continued rebranding efforts and streamlining of corporate messaging. Corea formerly held strategic marketing roles at Kravet, Robert Allen Duralee and DiSalvo Interiors.

“One of our goals for creating Studio and Signature under the under the Elk Home umbrella was to clearly articulate to the market the differentiated value propositions we can offer in furniture, lighting and home décor. In order to do this effectively, we must attract top talent to our product development and marketing teams who are aligned with the execution of this strategy for the company,” said Elk Home CEO David Pamer. “The addition of Gil, Jake and Victoria adds a breadth of expertise and experience that will help usher Elk Home into a new era, all with the goal of positioning Elk Home as a preferred supplier to our channel distributor partners.”

Sturtzel and Blake will report to Emma Lowry who was recently promoted to vice president of product development, overseeing the company’s product development team and overall product offering.  Lowry has been a longtime employee at Elk Home, having joined the company after working in lighting in China for several years. Corea will report to Robin Gordon, vice president of marketing, who joined Elk Home in 2019. Earlier this year, Elk Home announced the addition of Michael Van Derlofske as vice president of sales and retail business development.
