This October, CODARUS, a multi-line showroom and national sales organization, continues its expansion into the West Coast opening a nearly 10,000-square-foot to-the-trade showroom in the Laguna Design Center. This follows the September soft opening of the new CODARUS Showroom at the Dallas Design Center.
The CODARUS showroom offers furniture, bedding, lighting, accessories, art and more. The CODARUS Product Partners in Laguna will include Annie Selke Companies (Pine Cone Hill and Dash & Albert); Ave Home; Addison Weeks Hardware; Barbara Cosgrove Lamps; Handley Drive; Lili Alessandra; Moss Studio; Pom Pom at Home; Soicher Marin; Square Feathers; and a 2,000-square-foot presentation of Regina Andrew Design lighting gallery. Plus, CODARUS will carry fabrics from designer Steve McKenzie and an exclusive fabric collection from Lacefield. With a range of styles and diverse product offerings, the CODARUS showroom will be an excellent daily resource for designers to shop, collaborate and be inspired!
Cody Ables, CODARUS CEO & Creative Director, discussed the expansion: “In an ever-changing marketplace, CODARUS tries to consistently deliver the best service and shopping experience for our customers while also providing access to our brands through every available channel – our fabulous territory managers, bustling market showrooms, Connect Online platform, and now through the expansion of our open-daily Design Center Showrooms. The Laguna Design Center offers a beautiful shopping experience, and we are thrilled to join design powerhouses such as Baker, Century, Kravet, Bassman Blaine and Sutherland Perennials to serve our West Coast customers.”
To manage the Laguna showroom, CODARUS has hired Angelica Mowbray. A transplant from San Francisco, Mowbray has spent the past 3=three years working for high-end, to-the-trade showroom Witford. With a degree in Interior Architecture from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and her work with several design firms, Mowbray will be a great representative of the CODARUS brands and a tremendous asset to local designers who shop the showroom.
Dallas and Laguna Design Centers are both owned by innovative real estate group, Dunhill Partners, who bring a fresh energy and unique perspective to these thriving design communities. Bill Hutchinson, President and Founder of Dunhill Partners, spoke of the new CODARUS Laguna showroom: “We’re always in the market for new, exciting and exceptionally well-curated offerings for our Laguna Design Center clientele. We know CODARUS will serve the LDC market perfectly while also attracting more, new discerning shoppers to see all that we have to offer for Southern California homes.”
CODARUS will open at the beginning of October and host a grand opening cocktail party on October 4 during the Laguna Design Center Fall Market Day.
