Atlanta Market will blend celebration with education during five days of programs offering market insights, industry fun and networking opportunities at the Summer 2024 edition, July 16–22, at AmericasMart Atlanta.

Trend and Business Drive At-Market Discussion
Five seminars will give attendees industry insights across categories as they jumpstart summer buying.
Two keynote sessions will inspire attendees via celebrities discussing design and business. On Wednesday, July 17, at 1 p.m., Carson Kressley Introduces Fashionable Trends in Outdoor Living will get attendees ahead of the curve on all things outdoor. Kressley is a celebrity designer, TV personality and former Queer Eye fashion expert. (Building 3, Floor 2 Atrium)
On Thursday, July 18, at 1 p.m., Jill Zarin and Ally Shapiro, the mother-daughter founding duo of gift brand, Jill & Ally, will lead Collaborations, Partnerships & Licenses to explore the importance of partnerships to create new opportunities. This session will also be presented in Building 3, Floor 2 Atrium.
Three business-driven discussions will offer attendees smart skills to remain competitive in an ever-evolving retail landscape. Steph Bechard and Crystal Media will lead The Top 5 Strategies for Using Social Media to Move Your Merchandise to discuss digital marketing strategy on Wednesday, July 17, at 2:30 p.m. (Building 1, Floor 14 Seminar Space)
On Thursday, July 18, at 2:30 p.m., Leading Ladies: Insights from Women in Business delivers an all-female entrepreneur panel, featuring Adriana Carrig of Little Words Project and Atlanta Market (A) Listers, Jasmine Crockett and Jordan Jones. (Building 1, Floor 14 Seminar Space)
Showhouse Panel: Sourcing Showrooms and Showhouses will address the symbiotic relationship between showrooms, designers and vendors on Friday, July 19, at 2:30 p.m. This session will also be presented in Building 1, Floor 14 Seminar Space.
Market Serves Gourmet Education
In the JURA Demonstration Kitchen in Building 2, Floor 8 at 2:30 p.m., three immersive cooking demonstrations will offer quintessential summer dishes July 16–July18.
Anne Byrn’s Baking in the American South will feature classic Southern treats on Tuesday, July 16, and the Ela Demonstration will serve up Mediterranean favorites and creative cocktails on Wednesday, July 17.
Agatha Achindu will prepare her coconut jollof rice and everyday kale salad in the Agatha Achindu Demo + Book Signing for Bountiful Cooking: Wholesome Everyday Meals to Nourish You & Your Family on Thursday, July 18.
Celebrations Bring Summer Fun
Industry fêtes, floor parties and daily amenities will round out the market experience during four days of celebrations, bringing refreshments, light bites and community to the summer show.
Buyers will enjoy a morning pick-me-up with ANDMORE Design Services Manager, Caroline Russell, at Cappuccinos with Caroline on Wednesday, July 17, Thursday, July 18, and Friday, July 19, at 9 a.m.
ANDMORE Buyer Services Director Logan Avidon will hosts a New Buyer Breakfast on Wednesday and Thursday at 9 a.m.
Spirited parties and live tunes throughout the AmericasMart campus will enhance the market celebrations. ANDMORE’s Market Kickoff Party will feature complimentary drinks and light bites to celebrate summer market and opening day of the temporaries on Wednesday, July 17, at 6 p.m.
Daily Afternoon Beats will liven up the market with music by DJ Ree de la Vega, Thursday, July 18, Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, at 3:30 p.m.
Outdoor Living Provides Additional Programming
Atlanta Market will offer buyers additional cross-category sourcing and educational opportunities at Casual Market Atlanta, July 15-18, at AmericasMart. The concurrent buying event will inspire synergistic discovery with more than 170 complementary casual furniture and outdoor accessories resources.
Two events, presented by International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA), will provide additional inspiration: Trends in Outdoor Living Tour + Lunch will provide insights into consumer purchasing trends on Tuesday, July 16, at 12 p.m.; and Cocktails + Casual will serve up light bites and beverages in casual showrooms (Building 1, Floors 2-6) on Thursday, July 18, from 3–6 p.m.
