The 25 percent tariff on imported Chinese goods won't be going into effect on Jan. 1, 2019, as promised, but the home design industry isn't out of the woods just yet. Here's what retailers and designers should be watching right now.

The U.S. will not enact the 25 percent tariff scheduled to go into effect on Jan. 1, 2019, for 90 days. The two countries will continue trade talks and hopefully reach an agreement, though the 10 percent tariffs raised last September will remain in effect.

The company will throw a three-day sock-hop celebration in its Market Square Tower showroom to celebrate.
