The American Lighting Assn. (ALA) will launch a new group for women in the lighting industry to network, mentor and brainstorm with each other in Vancouver during the ALA Conference in September.
The association is currently taking suggestions and ideas for the meeting from female ALA members. Suggestions can touch a variety of topics, including how to help women in their lighting careers and businesses and how to improve and innovate the lighting industry.
This inaugural meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 12, just before the closing banquet reception. Attendees can drink, mingling and share preliminary ideas for future meetings. Ideas for this event and any future events can be emailed to bbentley@americanlightingassoc.com.
