Anna McGaha has joined the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame as Vice President of Marketing. A results-driven professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the home furnishings, technology and health industries, McGaha spent 13 years with Fine Furniture Design, serving as marketing director, product design and marketing coordinator, and account manager. She has been recognized by her industry peers as a Home Furnishings Business magazine “Forty Under 40” list and was honored with the Printing Industry of the Carolinas’ PICA Award for the Biltmore Collection catalog, created under her management.
McGaha also has served as vice president of sales and marketing for Greenlight Products, a product development and marketing company. In that role, she developed comprehensive marketing strategies across a variety of communication channels, including social media, and established systems for measuring costs, performance, and results.
“Anna is a skilled communicator and savvy strategic thinker with a deep knowledge of the home furnishings industry and a keen understanding of the Hall of Fame’s mission and objectives,” says Karen McNeill, CEO and chairman of the Hall of Fame board of directors. “We welcome her to our team.”
McGaha will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies including overseeing marketing campaigns and materials, social media and public relations. Other responsibilities range from booking building events to planning the Hall’s annual induction ceremony.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Hall of Fame at this moment in its long, distinguished history,” McGaha says. “The new Hall of Fame building has quickly become a key place for the home furnishings industry to meet and share ideas. This state-of-the-art building holds so many wonderful opportunities as a place to gather, learn and honor and I look forward to spreading the word among the industry and the High Point community."
