Wayfair, the online home furnishings retailer, will open four pop-up brick-and-mortar retail locations across the U.S. on Aug. 1, 2019. The stores will be open for three months.
The Wayfair Decor & Inspiration Shops will open in the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL; Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC; King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia, PA; and Tysons Corner Center in Fairfax, VA.
“We are excited to open four new pop-up shop locations across the U.S. this summer,” says Courtney Lawrie, Director of Brand Marketing for Wayfair. “The Wayfair Decor & Inspiration Shop will provide our customers a place to go for home ideas and inspiration as well as the chance to shop over 250 budget-friendly and eclectic decor items to purchase in-shop for the first time ever.”
Products will include living room wall art and throw pillows, supplies for entertaining, and bed and bath accessories. Inventory will rotate throughout the three months. Customers also will be able to browse the online selection in-store and place orders for delivery.
In March, Wayfair announced plans to open its first full-service retail store in Natick, MA, this fall. The company also opened an outlet store in Florence, KY, in February of this year.
