Windward's sales team has expanded with the recent addition of John Pinion and Justin Welsh. Bringing decades of sales experience, the two new sales professionals will represent the company’s casual furnishings to retail and designer clientele as well as the commercial market.
"We are excited to welcome John and Justin to the Windward team,” said Charles Emmons, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for Windward. “With their years of experience in the outdoor industry, we feel confident our valued retail and commercial partners, as well as prospective customers, will be served with the highest possible level of passion and professionalism.”
With over two decades of experience in territory management for interior and exterior furnishings, Pinion brings his extensive knowledge and passion for brand and relationship building to Sarasota, Florida-based Windward. As the President of the International Home Furnishing Representatives Association, Pinion’s territory focus includes Texas and Oklahoma. John holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He resides in Cedar Park, Texas with wife, Michelle and their two boys, Johnny and Austin.
“Windward is an undiscovered gem with its high quality Made in America, products that sell extremely well and the great people who own this business,” said Pinion. “I am excited for the opportunity this association will mean for dealers in my territory and for me.”
Justin Welsh will represent Windward to dealers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia. He brings a history of over 17 years in territory management and service to the home and casual furnishings industry. With a Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Justin has been recognized as Sales Rep of the Year by casual furnishings manufacturers Gloster Furniture and NorthCape on multiple occasions. Justin, his wife, Danielle, and their two children, Blake and Mia, reside in New York.
“I couldn’t be prouder to join one of the best companies in the casual industry,” said Welsh. “There is nothing like working for a family business that is passionate about the products it makes, the quality of each item and most importantly its commitment to Made in the US.”
