Chero has been part of the home furnishings industry, on the media side as well as on the public relations side, for nearly 10 years, fully tapping into her decades of experience in developing effective programs in communications, marketing, media, advertising, public relations and brand development. Most recently she was account director at Steinreich Communications. Prior to that role, she was vice president of production and director of marketing for Home Furnishings Business where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the magazine, its digital initiatives and its custom publishing division. In her new role, Chero will work collaboratively with the agency’s team and its clients to focus on strategic brand objectives, monitor project progress and provide insight and direction on vision, strategy and implementation. She will also develop techniques to create awareness on various platforms to reach clients’ target audiences while assuring they are focused on building brand awareness, product awareness, and raising client profiles. In addition, Chero will work to transform knowledge of client business objectives and customer insights into actionable marketing communications to secure competitive opportunities. She will also build and maintain relationships with top tier media organizations by providing them with high- quality deliverables. She will report to Dawn Brinson, VP strategic marketing.
“Jane has a unique blend of talent, energy and experience that will allow her to make an immediate impact for our clients creating best-in-class communications and marketing services and implementing public relations activities,” said Brinson. “Her diverse experience makes her the ideal candidate to serve as a strategic brand partner for our clients. We are thrilled to have her aboard to help us build on our strong foundation and feel very confident in her ability to deliver outstanding results for our clients to reach the right people at the right time with the right message.”
Chero received her bachelor’s degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York, where she majored in communications arts with a concentration in journalism, advertising and marketing.
