Fairfield, a provider of artisan-crafted upholstery and casegoods, has announced plans for a continuous, 7,000-square-foot expansion of its High Point Market showroom located at 200 N. Hamilton, Suite 100. This strategic expansion supports the company’s immediate and long-term growth objectives, providing customers with a more elevated and in-depth showroom experience.

The expanded showroom will enable Fairfield to present a more comprehensive showcase of its commercial and whole-home collections, offering greater depth across bedroom, living, and dining categories. In addition to showcasing a broader range of styles, a newly enhanced design center will be installed with natural lighting and more square footage to create a more user-friendly experience. The expansion also includes a dedicated and refreshed hospitality area, thoughtfully designed to host industry panels, events, and client gatherings during market, with features such as a bar, food stations, and lounge areas.

“This expansion is a strategic investment in Fairfield’s future, strengthening our ability to stay competitive in a constantly evolving market,” said Dixon Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer of Fairfield. “Our ongoing growth reflects the company’s solid foundation and steadfast commitment to long-term, sustainable success.”

The expansion will be completed in two phases, increasing Fairfield’s total showroom space to 20,000 square feet. A portion of the new space will debut during Fall 2024 High Point Market, with the showroom set to open on Thursday, October 24, at 1:00 p.m. The full expansion is scheduled for a grand opening in Spring 2025. This growth reflects Fairfield’s ongoing commitment to its customers and the Hamilton-Wrenn Design District, reinforcing its position as a key anchor and destination at High Point Market.

Libby Langdon will be showcasing her latest Fairfield Chair introductions in the tri-state area in the beginning of November. TV Makeover Interior Designer, Interior Designer and Product Designer Langdon designs her own licensed furniture collection for North Carolina-based Fairfield Chair.

Having just wrapped up High Point Furniture Market where Langdon first previewed her latest furniture pieces for Fairfield, she's taking the show on the road to provide opportunities for interior designers to see the latest introductions at Schwartz Design Showroom, in Edison, NJ, and Seigerman's Furniture and Design Center, in Farmingdale, NY.

“I know how difficult it is for interior designers to make the trip down to North Carolina for the furniture market so it’s exciting that we can bring the furniture market to them," Langdon says. "I realize it’s unusual to showcase furniture in a mobile trailer showroom but it’s a fun and unexpected way to connect with my designer friends and let them see my furniture designs, kick the tires, and see the beautiful Fairfield quality that you can only experience in person.”

The Langdon-Fairfield roadshow will take place on November 2, 2023, starting in Edison, NJ, and ending in Farmingdale, NY.

Haven Reserve

One of Fairfield's major launches this season includes the addition of leather to its Haven Reserve Collection. Haven Reserve is a configurable upholstery collection featuring ten stationary frames and twelve sectional components, bench-made to exact specifications by Fairfield’s skilled artisans in North Carolina.

The Haven Reserve Leather Collection seamlessly blends traditional and transitional styling, depending on the arm style, leg selection, and cover treatment. This comprehensive collection includes Sectionals, Sofas, Loveseats, Sleeper Sofas, Lounge Chairs, Swivel Chairs, Swivel Gliders, Chaise Lounges, and complementary ottomans, all crafted with Fairfield's signature construction. Featuring coiled seating units and premium seat cushions in the Classic Plush style, the Haven Reserve Leather Collection showcases meticulous English seam detailing. Fairfield announces the expansion of its bedroom offerings, further solidifying the company’s commitment to whole home design.

With a keen understanding of current aesthetics and a nod to timeless craftsmanship, Fairfield’s new introductions include four beds, all designed to integrate luxury with functionality. The company decided to expand its bedroom offerings following the success of Libby Langdon’s Farley Bedroom Collection and initial bedroom additions to the East Camden Collection showcased last Spring at High Point Market.

“Fairfield is committed to supporting interior designers and retailers as they redefine the spaces where their clients rest, rejuvenate and reconnect,” says Dixon Mitchell, CEO of Fairfield. “This season, we’ve set our sights on transforming the bedroom, and by broadening our bedroom offerings, we’re positioning ourselves to better assist our trade partners while deepening Fairfield’s commitment to the whole home business strategy.”

Fairfield is enhancing its customization options by integrating all four bedroom collections into the Monogram Custom Finish Program, offering over a dozen finishes. Additionally, the East Camden, West Camden and Camille collections can be tailored with any Fairfield Fabric, Leather or COM. These collections are set to ship in January 2024, while the previously released East Camden bedroom and Libby Langdon’s Farley Bedroom Collection will be available for shipping in October 2023. Customers can choose from over 75 leather and 1,200 fabric options, with the option to order the bedrooms as shown or customize them within six weeks.

Offering a classic design that has been modernized, the Camille is a French style upholstered wing bed featuring refreshingly simple lines and accented with beaded hand carvings around the headboard. The stunning Camille bed is finished in Fairfield’s painted linen finish adorned with antique pewter striping and is available in both Queen and King sizes.
