Signature Style

Elk Signature is the pinnacle of Elk Home’s expanding collection, with a mix of stunningly high-end materials, attention to every detail and a pride in the workmanship from around the globe. Each piece in the Signature collection meets each one of Elk’s brand pillars — Aspirational, Curated, Craftsmanship and Timeless.

“We are selective in the pieces brought into our collection,” says Jake Blake, Creative Director for Elk Home. “Our cohesive vision is achieved through a curated line of pieces that can live harmoniously with another through contrast or subtlety.”

Pieces in the latest Elk Signature launch build off a coastal aesthetic with washed wood tones, natural materials such as grasscloth, and blue and white tones often associated with the calming influence of the sea. Also playing to that calming vibe, the collection delivers soft edges and rounded frames for organic appeal.

“In the Elk Signature coastal collection, we see unique, comforting curves, whether through door hardware, waterfall edges or scalloped and fluted profiles. These soft, sculptural shapes work well with artisanal finishes and textures,” Blake says. “For example, notice the soft, matte white burl wood vs the textured grasscloth of the credenza. Satin brass accents and contrasts the coastal hues and adds a bit of sophisticated warmth.”

Attention to detail is at the heart of Elk Signature, and that starts with the quality craftsmanship of the pieces. “We believe the details make the difference,” Blake continues. “Our team sources the globe for the best craftsmen, ensuring a high quality, unique product that tells a story.”

Such elements as the pale blue grass cloth doors on the Gabe Credenza and cabinet, along with brass inlay and an inset bevel face showcase the artisanal nature of these pieces. Sculptural brass hardware that evokes an ocean wave adds a detail that creates a subtle connection to the coast and elevates the appeal.

The Carolina six-light chandelier features a satin brass finish, an updated traditional silhouette and frosted globes that impart soft light, delivering an updated traditional aesthetic that delivers a comforting ambiance.

While coastal style typically delivers a more casual vibe, materials and finishes in the Elk Signature collection bring enough panashe to elevate these pieces to a luxury aesthetic. The collection is cohesive and works well together but each piece stands on its own merits, materials and details.

The Apollo dining and cocktail tables, for example, offer subtle nods to nature with fluted profiles in off-white solid oak, with radiating fancy-face oak veneer tops and brass-trimmed bases that take the pieces to a luxury level.

Kichler Lighting LLC shares its latest decorative release at KBIS this week collaborating with Delta in booth #N2037. Offering a range of sizes, including extra-large options and finish options across the interior and bath collections, these fixtures can be mixed and matched from room to room, providing a myriad of design possibilities.

“We curated these collections with the whole home in mind, to meet the growing demand for on-trend designs that exude both simplicity and sophistication,” says Kichler’s Creative Director Greg Martin. “The result is a set of premium looks at attractive price points that offer mass appeal and seamlessly blend with any space.”
The collections include eight new families, available in an array of finishes and sizes to fit all types of space:

Adani
The striking silhouette of the Adani collection makes a modern style statement. Its beautiful opal glass illuminates any setting. Elevate your space with its clean detailing and refined finishes in Black, Champagne BronzeTM, Brushed Nickel, or Polished Nickel. Adani offers a one-light sconce and two-, three-, and four-light vanity options.

Aviv
The Aviv collection blends on-trend cylindrical design with thoughtful detailing and conveys a sleek style. Just when you think you can't have it all, Aviv makes an entrance with its versatility and timeless accents. Available in Black, Champagne Bronze, Brushed Nickel, or Polished Nickel finishes, Aviv comes in a one- or two-light sconce.

Benno
The Benno collection features a clean, modern design with hints of industrial detailing. Illuminating through its distinct milky, white opal glass globe, Benno is the perfect accent, with finishes in Black, Black and Champagne BronzeTM, Champagne BronzeTM, Brushed Nickel, and Polished Nickel. It offers a one-light sconce and two-, three-, and four-light vanity options that can be mounted facing up or down.

Delarosa
Designed to illuminate in style, the Delarosa pendant is luxuriously oversized. Atop the shade features an elegant decorative taper detailing. It’s the kind of light that changes the entire feel of a space. This collection is available in Black, White, Champagne BronzeTM and Black, and Champagne BronzeTM and White finishes, with 20” and 24” tall pendant sizes.

Delvin

Midi

Kalco Lighting introduces new standout styles that will shine in the showroom at Dallas Market, Jan. 10 – Jan. 13, and Las Vegas Market, Jan. 28 – Feb. 1. Handcrafted with materials found in nature, the collections combine intricate detail with emerging design trends, such as softer lines and iridescent shimmer, to create a warm, yet vibrant ambiance in the home.

“Art deco influences, earthy neutral tones, natural materials and brass and gold finishes tell the story of Kalco this season,” Riki Lent, Senior Vice President of Kalco Lighting and Allegri Crystal, says. “Some of the pieces are made with natural alabaster to showcase the unique layering found in the stone and others are modern, sculptural interpretations of banana leaves and waterfalls, yet each fixture has the ability to infuse warmth and beauty into our surroundings.”

From chandeliers and floor lamps to pendants and wall sconces, highlights of the January debuts include:

Inspired by oyster shells, the Spat wall sconce features an uneven natural edge with an iridescent natural Capiz Shell interior. The driverless LED technology offers an indirect light that bounces off the shells to illuminate the space. This collection is offered in a pearlized antique brass finish and can be hung upside down and sideways.
Available in a winter brass finish, the Crest pendant and wall sconce boast a botanical inspiration with a water textured effect on the elongated frosted glass shades. The slightly curving arms add ambiance and softness to the room.
Inspired by ruffled organza silk, the Gossamer pendant features a textured layering of flat pieces of raw Capiz shell. The wooden Gmelina bead spaces add visual lines to the soft, yet structured design, which is offered in an oxidized gold leaf finish and equipped with an eight-foot chain.

Among other eye-catching offerings, the Vertical pendant and wall sconce is crafted from extruded brass and alabaster stone while the floral shaped Poppy Collection, featuring a seamless blend of natural materials—abaca fiber and authentic acacia wood—expands to include a pendant and wall sconce in addition to the floor lamp.

Naturally inspired luxury lighting designs from Allegri Crystal will also draw the eye at Winter Market.

“The collections are characterized by abstract representations of vining wisteria, organic ripples in water and flowering buds to create a growth-like movement as well as champagne gold and solid brass,” Lent says. “The difference between Kalco and Allegri is the striking Firenze Crystal forms that exude elegance and sophistication.”
