On April 16, Moe’s Home Collection will launch its first Moe’s Digital Market, giving customers and potential partners a chance to see many of its newest product introductions.

Through this platform, visitors will be able to virtually browse Moe’s Home Collection product and watch a short video about each collection to learn about the materials, design and high quality details that have gone into each piece.

Moe Samieian Jr., President of Moe’s Home Collection says he and company staff are excited to virtually connect with everyone to show the amazing products that their designers have been working on over the last several months for a spring 2020 launch. As an overview, this season will showcase prevalent trends featuring ‘soft organic shapes,’ ‘dark sensorial design’ and materials such as natural blonde woods, bouclé and cane detailing.

All of their new introductions have either already arrived in stock in warehouses, or will be arriving within the next two months. The platform also allows visitors to book a personal appointment with a sales rep for more details.

With the current COVID-19 situation, Moe’s has moved all staff to working from home, and has kept its three warehouses in WA, NJ, and BC all open with strict new protocols to keep everyone safe and continue to fulfill partners’ orders.

Twelve new, relocating and expanding showrooms will enhance the breadth and depth of the 450 resources in the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) at spring 2020 High Point Market, running April 25 – 29, 2020.

“IHFC is High Point Market’s largest property and features hundreds of the industry’s biggest brands in 3.5 million square feet of permanent showrooms and the distinguished InterHall collection,” said Scott Eckman, president of furniture and home decor leasing for International Market Centers. “IHFC’s lineup includes an assortment of companies that range from best decor and accessories such as Global Views and Phillips Collection, to large-scale furniture companies such as Ashley and Bernhardt.”

Home Furnishings Lines Debut and Expand in IHFC

Three newcomers will make their High Point Market debut in IHFC this spring, including Crystorama (interior and outdoor lighting); Level 57 Art Studio (art); and RDT (furniture).

“We are thrilled to unveil our new showroom in High Point and have greatly expanded our product offerings, so the time was right to showcase our new designs to an increasing following of designers and home decor buyers,” said Nancy Lonoff, marketing director of Crystorama. “High Point Market is the epicenter of the home furnishing industry and we are so excited to meet new customers and experience the energy and excitement of April market.”

Four existing tenants will also be unveiling new showrooms in IHFC. These exhibitors include: Art Classics (canvas reproduction art); Bontempi Casa (beds, bookcases, desks, occasionals, seating); Hubbardton Forge (handcrafted lighting); and Port 68 (accessories, accent furniture, lighting, pendants, wall decor).

"High Point Market is our largest connection to buyers and new product introductions,” said Mark Abrams, vice president of design and marketing for PORT 68. “The market brings the best and most fashion-forward buyers from around the world to one location where ideas, energy and great product displays make the business happen.”

Additionally, five current tenants are relocating or expanding their showrooms in IHFC for spring market. Camerich USA (modern furniture) and Emissary (accessories, garden seats, lamps, occasional furniture, pottery) relocated from other showrooms within IHFC; Moe’s Home Collection (accessories, bedroom, dining room, lighting, living room, wall decor) is relocating from D400 and expanding by 45 percent into a 18,674-square-foot space on C300; and Mobital (bedroom, chairs, dining room, occasional, upholstery) is relocating from D700 and expanding by 40 percent into a 10,103-square-foot space on C500. Daleno (hand embellished giclées) is expanding by 43 percent into a 4,440-square-foot showroom on H420.

“High Point Market is crucial to our business because it leverages us as a consolidated brand globally and allows us to stay ahead of the market,” said Moe Samieian Jr., president of the wholesale division for Moe’s Home Collection. “We are excited to debut a newly expanded showroom that can fully showcase our best-selling, as well as introduce our newest assortment of products.”

IHFC Renovation

IMC announced at fall 2019 High Point Market that it will invest $14.4 million into a remodel of the IHFC. Plans include a reimagined façade, an open and inviting lobby, and a more functional registration area. Other planned IHFC enhancements include the addition of new state-of-the-art meeting and lounge facilities, upgrades to the IHFC Main food court and office areas, renovation of the 11th Floor Ballroom, and refurbishment of common areas and restrooms throughout the building’s 14 floors. The renovation is the cornerstone of a $33.5 million capital investment in IMC’s High Point Market properties. The IHFC upgrades have already begun and will be implemented over several phases with all scheduled for completion by the fall 2021 market.
