Magnolia Network’s Bargain Mansions premiers its sixth season on Wed., Aug. 14, at 8 pm ET. In the season opener, titled “Magic Makeover,” host Tamara Day and her team transform a massive castle using pieces from her new Tamara Day by Spectra Home collection.

“We are all very excited to see which Spectra Home pieces of Tamara’s new collection she has chosen for the Bargain Mansions shows this season,” said Jim Telleysh, President of Spectra Home. “Her family-friendly upholstery works well not only for the homes she redesigns but also for our designers, retail partners and their customers who need upholstery that not only looks good and is comfortable, but can also stand up to the rough everyday treatment from pets and kids.”

Day said that the first house in Season 6 proved to be a challenge. "But we were able to take it from a mystic mess to a dream home using some of my furniture from Spectra Home,” she said. “Throughout the season I found that the upholstery worked well in a wide range of settings from modern to super-traditional. I cannot wait for everyone to see it.”

Telleysh added, “We remain committed to donating a portion of the proceeds from the Tamara Day by Spectra Home collection to The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation to help provide financial grants to those in the home furnishing and design industry who are battling breast cancer.”

Tamara Day, interior designer and host of Magnolia Network’s top hit show "Bargain Mansions," is known as the purveyor of glam and cozy lifestyle looks for families like hers. In her new partnership with Spectra Home, Day will focus on creating upholstered seating that fits into her practical family-friendly style, which is also affordable, attainable and aspirational. The Tamara Day by Spectra Home upholstery collection will debut at the October 2023 High Point Market.

“Tamara is very relatable with a relaxed and down-to-earth design aesthetic that will address the evolving needs of our retail partners and their customers,” stated Jim Telleysh, President of Spectra Home. “Our customers want furniture that looks good, is comfortable and easy to care for with kids and pets. Tamara’s recognizable style seen in the beautiful interiors that she creates for her clients fits those goals. “As a busy mother, interior designer, restoration enthusiast and TV host, I am always searching for family-friendly home fashions that are eye-catching, well made and easy to afford,” commented Day. “Spectra Home’s upholstery fits perfectly with my vision for the active family spaces that I design. In fact, I have already used a few pieces of their upholstery on "Bargain Mansions" and am looking forward to using more of their upholstery in the future.”

Day grew up on a farm in the Midwest where she learned do-it-yourself hands-on skills from her dad. Her design career blossomed in 2008 when she purchased and renovated a 1980s 5,000-square-foot foreclosure that required a complete makeover to be livable for her and her family. She not only redesigned the house but did a lot of the work herself. To stay on budget, she shopped estate sales and refashioned furniture to fit her aspirations. Out of this experience, a new brand was born — Tamara Day Design — her interior design, furniture, décor and lifestyle business. Day’s home renovation attracted the attention of local magazines which led to her TV design career on "Bargain Mansions," now in its fifth season. On the show, Day and her crew transform large, old houses that she discovers at bargain prices into dream homes for families to love. While respecting the integrity and history of the homes, she finishes the homes with timelessly modern furnishings that are elevated in style but attainably priced — perfect for today’s families.

The Tamara Day by Spectra Home upholstery collection will consist of transitional and traditional sofas, sectionals, benches, chairs, swivel chairs and ottomans covered in a variety of colorful easy-care performance fabrics, jacquards, and leathers.

Quorum International has teamed up with celebrity designer Tamara Day. Three new lighting collections featuring chandeliers, pendants, wall mounts and vanities, will debut during Lightovation this coming June.

Tamara Day is known for her work on Magnolia Network's hit show, "Bargain Mansions." On the show, Day features several Quorum lighting fixtures in her designs, showcasing the quality and style of the company's products. Day’s brand is built around her “laid-back luxe” style, which combines touches of glam with a cozy, livable vibe.

"We’re excited to launch our brand partnership with Tamara Day," said Jose Lopez, President of Quorum. "Tamara's designs are fresh and innovative, and we're thrilled to be bringing them to life with our high-quality lighting fixtures. Her relaxed style mixed with elegant accents made for the perfect partnership between our two brands.”

When asked about the partnership, Tamara Day stated, “I love the quality of the product and the unique and bold designs. I chose to partner with them because they are a family-owned company who values their staff and brand partners.”

The introduction will include additions to three existing collections from Tamara Day Design inspired by select homes featured on Bargain Mansions. The Lee Boulevard collection gained its namesake from the house in Day’s hometown of Kansas City, Mo. The Juniper collection is a tribute to the first home to air on the show. The Charlotte collection is influenced by the trio of mansions located on Charlotte Street. Each collection is distinct, while remaining rooted in Day’s trademark style.

To celebrate the three new collections, Quorum and Tamara Day will host a launch party at the Quorum showroom (TM3004) on Wednesday, June 21st, from 12pm to 2pm. Day will be in attendance and guests can enjoy live music, signature cocktails and delicious barbecue, a nod to Kansas City.
