The Visual Comfort Group is bringing the combined style sensibilities of E.F. Chapman and Kyle Myers to the High Point Market.
The Chapman & Myers Collection for Generation Lighting debuted in January in Dallas and it will be shown in High Point for the first time. Additionally, the company is introducing a broad assortment for Visual Comfort & Co.
Chapman has been a design partner with the Visual Comfort companies for years. He was designers and creative director of Chart House, Visual Comfort’s first designer product line. The EFC Studio line still forms the core of company’s assortment, and Chapman contributes designs for his own collections as well as several for Visual Comfort’s private label customers.
Myers started his lighting design career at Ralph Lauren Home and has steered its lighting collection’s creative direction for the last decade. He joined EFC Studio last spring to partner with Chapman.
Chapman brings a classical idiom to his designs while Myers opts for more modern looks, which officials say creates a balance, encompassing traditional, modern and transitional aesthetics.
As part of the launch, Visual Comfort Group is expanding its showroom on the second floor of the C&D Building.
