Self-adhesive wallpaper maker Tempaper is adding a new design perspective and bolstering another at the April 14-18 High Point Market.
The Brick, N.J.-based manufacturer announced that it now has designs from The Novogratz among its offerings and is adding to its designs by Genevieve Gorder.
Officials say these headlining collections offer texture, lush hues and painterly details that add a chic aesthetic to walls or wherever designers choose to apply the brand’s removable wallpaper.
The first wallpaper collection from husband-and-wife duo Cortney and Robert Novogratz, the series includes 11 whimsical patterns, designed to add bold color and creativity to the everyday lifestyle. The collection’s designs include patterns that suit a variety of tastes. With four main looks — Montauk, Parisian Chic, Woodstock and Laurel Canyon, The Novogratz have created a cohesive, yet wide-ranging array of options that play to different styles and aesthetics.
“The Novogratz Collection brings the designer experience to consumers in an inspiring, yet attainable style,” said Tempaper CEO Julia Au. “Their modernized approach to pattern design easily creates the boutique experience for the everyday consumer. We love partnering with a team that just ‘gets it.’”
Gorder’s patterns, which play upon the sophisticated nature of her previous collection for the brand, include her popular Brass Belly design in two additional colorways: pearl and pewter, and four artistic, never-before-seen designs: Ghosted Cactus, Sexy Serpentine, Maya’s Papayas and New York Toile.
“Genevieve’s designs are spot on! Did you see those papayas?!” Au said. “Her aesthetic is both charming and lively which bring such a nice energy to our assortment that our consumers just love. We couldn’t resist building her collection with a spring launch.”
In addition to these styles, Tempaper is adding enhancements to its Elements and Chinoiserie collections. The Elements Collection will welcome two new patterns, Luna and Gio, which embody geometric forms and rich hues, such as Emerald and Charcoal. Canopy, an elegant floral pattern will be added to the Chinoiserie Collection, offering a splash of traditional elegance.
