FORT WORTH, Texas – Cyan Design, which manufactures home décor and furniture, has added Mary Wilson as the company’s new director of merchandise.
In her new role with Cyan Design, Wilson will collaborate with the product development team to fine-tune and strategically expand the product assortment. She will also work closely with the marketing, sales and planning teams to identify growth and expansion opportunities for the company.
“Mary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team, and we are beyond excited,” said Jose Lopez, Quorum International president. “Mary will team up with our talented team to help carry the new vision for Cyan Design. With the experience in merchandise and strategy for success, Mary will have an immediate impact.”
A veteran in the home décor industry, Wilson founded the original Studio A Home, known for its eclectic, refined mix of accessories, artifacts and furniture. In 2010, a new partnership with the Global Views ownership formed Studio A Home, a Global Views Company.
Also, as president of Wilson Consulting Team, Wilson has consulted in product development and sales within the home furnishings industry. Previously she served as director of business development and international sales for Leftbank Art.
“This new role at Cyan Design is an ideal challenge for me, and it encompasses a convergence of the areas I am most passionate about — product development, sales growth, and customer engagement. The company is poised for growth, and I’m humbled and delighted to be part of their plan and their very talented team,” Wilson said.
