Brett Austin has been named vice president in charge of Americasmart marketing and sales services, according to Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., president and chief operating officer of Americasmart Atlanta and its AMC, Inc. parent entity.
Austin’s appointment as vice president elevates and expands his previous position as AMC marketing and publishing procurement/production director, a position he has held for four years. A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and Georgia State University with an undergraduate degree in printing management and an MBA in marketing, Austin’s 14-year career includes positions at Color Graphics and Quebecor World. Prior to joining AMC in 2006, he served as production director at Grey Direct.
“Brett’s huge contributions in our marketing and publishing production operations equip him well for the expanded responsibilities that come with his vice presidency,” Portman said. “He will continue to play an important role in our mission of continuous improvement by targeting enhanced efficiencies and value across a variety of Americasmart operations.”
