With a much larger space than its previous footprint at the Casual Market in Chicago, Sunset West is planning a broader presentation of its productsbat the Atlanta show this July. The leading luxury outdoor furnishings resource plans to highlight best-sellers as well as line extensions and brand-new collections this July. “We are thrilled to have a larger space that will allow us to present our product line in a much more meaningful way for the inaugural show on the east coast,” said Aliena Klaus Squire, vice president of marketing with Sunset West. “The relocation of the show to Atlanta combined with the cross-category buying and selling opportunities that present themselves in AmericasMart will provide us with an opportunity to reach an even wider audience of buyers.” In addition to presenting many of its best-sellers, the company is planning several new product launches this July, including Sedona, a mixed material group featuring teak and
resin wicker, and Bahia, a new cushion-less rope seating group. Rendered in Sunset West’s signature weathered coastal teak finish, Sedona features rounded edges in familiar mid-century silhouettes. Textured all weather wicker is handwoven around a solid teak frame, for a mixed material design that delivers on both form and function. Including a variety of seating options that will complement existing collections, Bahia is a cushion-less design with a handwoven rope seat deck and back.
“Thoughtfully designed, the pitch, seat height and radius all come together to provide maximum comfort – even without a cushion,” added Squire. “They also add to our quick ship program because as don’t require any customization.” The company will also be expanding its popular Coastal Teak line with a new adjustable chaise, barstool, and armless dining chair. Featured in a natural color story, the collection
features a unique multi-step finish that gives the natural wood a warm grey color that develops a natural patina over time. Lastly, Sunset West’s Bazaar collection will also be expanded with new accent end tables that were designed to complement existing collections.
“New pieces in Bazaar include curated items that help to ‘break up’ the traditional ‘set,’” said Squire. “The pieces inject some fun mixed materials and colorways into the line that are designed for use in both indoor and outdoor living spaces.” The new products will make their debut in the Sunset West showroom.
